| The Tritton are fucking bad ass (I've said that 100 times). Aparently, the newer units come with a different voltage base module that even articulates the sound much better.
If you guys DON'T shit your pants the first time you try these, I'd be shocked.
FWIW, I've worn them for 6-7 hours straight and they are very comfortable. the chord is pretty long and I forget they are on after I get into the first match. I've been using them for over a year. Their tech supprt is awesome.
You need to go into the "Settings" menu on the dashboard and check on:
"Play voice through speakers" setting. Everyones voice will come through the speakers . The only downside is if you enter private chat, you still hear everyone talking in the background. They won't hear your chat, you just hear them.
Ask me anything else about them tonight.
p.s. The vibrating subwoofer is awesome! It's not annoying but adds to the bass big time! I keep the centers speakers around 5, the fronts (L & R) at 6 and the rears at 8. I also turn the game volume (inside the game settings) all the way down to 2 from the left and keep the voice setting in the dashboard at about 7. All of these settings takes 2 minutes tops - super easy and these mufss are loud as fuck!!!! You can get redicuolous if you want to!
The best moeny I've ever spent and I paid $150 when they came out. They won a shit load of awards.

| He is having some problems with his mic, but it's actually the chord I believe. I had mine for about 6 months when the chord that plugs into the mic then feeds to the controller started to have static problems.
I called them and they priority shipped me a new cable. I knew it was the cable b/c when I moved it around the static would respond.
I've had mine 18 months now and they've been awesome. I called them to gett he new style control box (the one they've been shipping for the last 6 months or more) and they are sending it to me for free even though I'm out of warranty!!! They are also sending me another mic for free so I have a backup.
CUSTOMER SERVICE THERE RAWKS!!!!!! | |
