RING, I've finally found my rifle: G36C with Red Dot. The greatest all purpose rifle in the game
imo. Headshots at long range, deadly stopping power, shreds through walls even without deep impact (although DI is amazing on Bog, Vacant, Wet Works, Downpour + Showdown. I would give this rifle an A- in ALL categories. For maps that have a mix of long and short range.
You may want to try it. It's straight up sick! It also has a "muted" sound off the barrel so it's hard to detect where people are firing from. I've used it with Dead Silence and Extreme Conditioning. Pop the trigger like a G3 and hold it down at short range (start at the stomach and let it climb). Headshots are a breeze with this rifle. I'm already at 120 or so.
